The materials of hydraulic sealing ring are rubber, tetrafluoroethylene, aluminum, copper, steel, etc. Different materials are used in different situations, rubber and tetrafluoro materials are encouraged, aluminum and copper materials are used for pressure, and steel materials must be used for UHV. The installation precautions of hydraulic seals are as follows:

1. Inspect the piston, cylinder barrel and related surfaces where the guide sleeve is installed.

2. The installation tool is required to be smooth, without edges and sharp corners to ensure that the seal will not be damaged in any form during the installation process.

3. When installing, a small amount of grease can be used on the relevant surface of the seal and the cylinder barrel, which is convenient for installation. Residual grease is not allowed between the rubber elastomer and the sliding seal ring, which will affect the sealing performance.
